Who we are
ART for ART is a subsidiary of the Austrian Federal Theatres and is one of the largest theatre service providers in Europe. In addition to the costume and decoration workshops, building technology and the ticket sales & information department, ART for ART also operates the Digital Technologies Service Centre (IT) as the central IT service provider for all companies of the Austrian Federal Theatres - the Vienna State Opera, the Burgtheater, the Volksoper Wien and the Vienna State Ballet.

The costume workshops of ART for ART Theaterservice GmbH are the general outfitter of the Austrian Federal Theatres (Vienna State Opera, Volksoper Vienna, Vienna State Ballet and Burgtheater) and produce the costumes for around 40 productions per year. We are looking for a full-time men's tailor as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

  • Production of theatre costumes (classic/historical/modern)

Your expertise:

  • Completed apprenticeship as a menswear maker: in
  • Ability to work independently
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Enthusiasm for working in the theatre and dealing with people
  • Experience in theatre is an advantage

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the minimum salary according to the collective agreement is € 2604.47 gross per month (14x per year).
