Logistics Specialist for the Decoration Workshops

Who we are
ART for ART is a subsidiary of the Austrian Federal Theatres and is one of the largest theatre service providers in Europe. In addition to the costume and decoration workshops, building technology and the ticket sales & information department, ART for ART also operates the Digital Technologies Service Centre (IT) as the central IT service provider for all companies of the Austrian Federal Theatres - the Vienna State Opera, the Burgtheater, the Volksoper Wien and the Vienna State Ballet.

We are looking for a colleague for our logistics department in the decoration workshops at the Arsenal - full-time, starting 1 September 2026.

ART for ART Theaterservice GmbH is a subsidiary of the Austrian Federal Theatres and is one of the largest theatre service providers in Europe.

Our workshops produce decorations for the Vienna State Opera, the Burgtheater and the Volksoper Vienna as well as stage sets and decorations for renowned theatres, opera houses and events from all over the world.

TASKS

The scope of activities in logistics includes internal transport by hand and with the aid of transport and conveying equipment, as well as their upkeep and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional experience in logistics
  • High physical resilience
  • Independent working method
  • strong ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to work on Sundays and public holidays

The collective minimum wage is €2,571.52 on a full-time basis.
