Who we are
ART for ART is a subsidiary of the Austrian Federal Theatres and is one of the largest theatre service providers in Europe. In addition to the costume and decoration workshops, building technology and the ticket sales & information department, ART for ART also operates the Digital Technologies Service Centre (IT) as the central IT service provider for all companies of the Austrian Federal Theatres - the Vienna State Opera, the Burgtheater, the Volksoper Wien and the Vienna State Ballet.

Die Kostümwerkstätten der ART for ART Theaterservice GmbH sind die Generalausstatter der Österreichischen Bundestheater (Wiener Staatsoper, Volksoper Wien, Wiener Staatsballett und Burgtheater) und fertigen die Kostüme für etwa 40 Produktionen pro Jahr. Wir suchen ab sofort eine:n Leiter:in für den Einkauf in Vollzeit.

Your tasks:

  • Führung der Abteilung Materialeinkauf und -lager, sowie Wäschetausch mit 7 Mitarbeiterinnen
  • Orders and purchase of fabrics, accessories
  • Rechnungskontrolle und Kontierung
  • Weiterentwicklung der Abteilung nach logistischen Kriterien (Vorkommissionierung)
  • Akquirierung von neuen Firmen
  • Preisverhandlungen
  • Reklamationen
  • Jährliche Inventur
  • Einführung des SAP-Bestellwesen

Your expertise:

  • Kenntnisse im Bereich der Materialkunde  und Logistik (idealerweise spezifische Berufserfahrung im Bereich Textil)
  • Erfahrung mit strategischer Logistik-Prozessführung
  • Organisational talent
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good knowledge of English (other foreign languages an advantage)
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office 365)
  • von Vorteil SAP-Kenntnisse
  • Enthusiasm for the work at the theatre and the close cooperation with the different departments of our company
  • Enjoy working in an artistic environment

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the minimum salary according to the collective agreement is € 3,052.30 gross per month (14x per year). The actual salary depends on the respective qualification and professional experience.
